A friend in England has just contacted me, to let me know that he is selling his Wheatstone Aeola Concertina.

It's a Wheatstone Aeola 56-key extended (upwards) treble English concertina. It has very fine steel reeds, raised metal ends and is in concert pitch and lovely condition. The bellows are fine and airtight. The action is excellent and smooth. It's a lovely instrument and plays beautifully. Serial No. is 29239 which puts the original sale date at 11th April 1922 according to the Wheatstone ledgers.
I would be sad to see it go, but the truth is I am concentrating more and more on anglo these days, so it deserves to pass on to someone else who will make good use of it.
I guess I would be looking for £3000 - £3250 sort of range.
