Hello everybody! this is Fernando from Spain, living in Galway since about 4 years ago. I love to play english concertina!, I feel so well playing it, and the better I play the more I like it. I have plenty to learn, thats for sure, but Im not in a hurry, Im already enjoying so much!. What I basically do is to play melodies, I do the simple line of the tune, trying to stick to the original key. Everything by ear. I don't know how to read music, I don't have a clue of what notes Im playing. What I do is to listen the tune I want to play again and again, and many times I sing the tune to myself, or I do humming, or whistling, and then I go for it!. I do irish and spanish music. I do scotish as well, but a little, I suppose people here in the forum play a way more than me. Im very happy to join this forum and Im looking forward to having fun because I love discussing these matters
