Hi, I live in West Lothian and have been playing the English concertina for a few years, but am still very much a beginner. Have been trying to rectify that recently by practising a lot more.
I have a battered old Lachenal tutor which I found in an antique/junk shop.
My main interest is Northumbrian music, as I hail from the North east of England originally.

Hello Yaffle, Nought wrong wi' that! I'm an Edinburgh man myself, & spent my early years in Penicuik! Still, nobody's perfect! Join the club, I'm sure we all should be practising a lot more! Hey, was it battered when you bought it, or ....... Well, my main interest is in Irish & Scottish music but over the years I've learned quite a few Northumbrian tunes & most Saturdays a Northumbrian Piper joins our session, so I play a few sets of his tunes ... in F of course! Glad to have you with us. Cheers Dick
