Hello all,
My name is Mark Anderson. I've been playing English concertina since 2002, after I bought a Lachenal on a whim when I was in London. A few years ago I managed to score myself a good Wheatstone off e-bay, and have been playing it ever since.
I live in Sydney, Australia, but regularly visit my parents who live near Kelso in the Scottish Borders (I was born and bred in Northumberland). My father George also plays English concertina, and is a member of a group based in Coldstream. When I'm in Scotland I play in sessions in Edinburgh and the Borders. The music I play is mainly Irish, but I also play some Scottish tunes, as well as tunes from Northumberland and the Borders.
Cheers,
Mark
