Can I just slip in your piece of Useless Information for Today? St Roch was born right here in Montpellier in the 14th century. Here's St Roch church in Montpellier, and every year in August there's a big parade to celebrate his plague-fighting exploits.

Cheers Dick Oops, that's not the pic I meant to link to! In fact that pic is St Pierre, I noticed a few of them as I was looking for a nice one of St Roch. Here's a better link. It includes some pics of the huge mural opposite St Roch church. Honestly, you would walk past it and not realise it wasn't real.
