I was lucky enough to bump into Jack Beck this week, here in the Glens of Antrim. I met Jack first back in 1973 but I hadn't seen him since 1983, so we had a wee bit of catching up to do. Anyway, he was telling me that he acquired an old Wheatstone from a musician in Fife, some years ago, but he finally got round to having it fully restored fairly recently, so now he's working away on it & learning how to play it, so that he can accompany the odd song or two. So one more Scottish exiled English Concertina player for our list! Cheers Dick

Latest Update!
It was my sad duty to move the name of late & much missed Jim Reid, to the "Not to be forgotten" section of this list.
On a happier note, I am delighted to be able to add a new name to our list - Gary Mahon ~ Isle of Skye.
Cheers Dick

I've just added SIX more names to our list here.
G. S. Morris, Victor Smith, Jack Easy, James Dickson, Tommy Dale & Walter Dale.
Sadly they are no longer with us, but they surely do deserve to be remembered.
Cheers, Dick

Sorry folks, we're back to 79. I had to remove the name Oscar St Cyr, because I learned only today, that this was just a pseudonym for a player whose name is already on our list. Cheers, Dick
