Hello!
I did the hopping bit first, and have indicated my whereabouts on your poll. I liked your poll - Scottish regions are given top priority, and huge places like France and Germany are just part of Europe. Hooray!
As for me, I am Scottish, but not living in Scotland. I enjoyed playing folk music in England because of the variety - English, Scottish, Irish, American tunes. I've enjoyed it less in France because things are more categorised - the Irish session really is seriously Irish. OTOH, there are two Scottish Dance groups within half an hour's drive of me, so all is not lost! :-)
Still a beginner on English Concertina after a year, because it has to take second (third?) place to a large collection of electric guitars. And to our summer guests, bien sur, who would run a mile if I even took it down off the shelf.
And that's it, really.
Except I can't see any smilies, and I do like smilies. :-)

I just thought I'd nip in to say hello again after a bit of an absence. My laptop shuffled off its mortal coil. One day it just wouldn't boot up, and that was me lost until I revived this ancient thing. The laptop now has Linux on it, I really must get round to installing it properly...... HELLO!!!

Hello again. Welcome back. Excuse my ignorance, but I'm off now to find out what Linux is. Cheers Dick
