My Crabb Anglo has developed a duff note. I moved to Edinburgh three and a half years ago and I don't know where I can get it mended. I rang round possible shops/repairers but they all said to try somewhere else. Help?

Hi Morwenna
I have just seen your post. I too have a Crabb anglo and live in Edinburgh. There are various possibilities - it could have got some extraneous matter stuck in it or it could have shifted position slightly in the groove it sits in. you may be able to fix the problem by taking the end off and carefully checking the reed. If all else fails, Geoff Crabb would fix it for you but he lives in Bishops Stortford (near Stansted) and you would have to get the instrument to him.
