I'm an old fart, long retired. Got my metal-ended 1915 Wheatstone EC in 1982 while living in the far NW of Scotland (paid £100, the best bargain of my life!). Started with Scottish and Irish traditional music, learned with the encouragement of friends and neighbors in Highland ceilidhs and pub sessions. Now I'm enjoying a lot of musical genres, including classical, klezmer, ragtime, etc. I'm a dual citizen of USA and Ireland, but my heart belongs to Scotland.
"Yankeeclipper" refers not to sailing ships, but to my three full seasons of clipping sheep in the Highlands with traditional blade shears.

Hey, if your hands could stand working those Clippers for three years, then playing a Concertina must be a dawdle for them! Cheers Dick
